Measure 11 "Organic farming"
Measure 11 "Organic farming" aims to provide public goods that contribute to the protection of the environment and animal welfare. In particular, in terms of achieving environmental goals, it contributes:
• protecting soil and biodiversity by increasing organic matter and reducing pollutants
• in water protection through the reduction of pollutants
• improving the greenhouse gas balance by increasing soil organic matter and reducing N2O and CH4 emissions
• in mitigating and adapting to climate change

Action 11.1.1 and 11.2.1 Organic Agriculture
The beneficiaries undertake to integrate or maintain in the system of organic agriculture according to Reg. (EC) 834/2007 the agricultural parcels with the crops they wish for a period of three or five years and conclude or maintain a contract with an approved Organic Product Certification Organization.

Action 11.1.2 and 11.2.2 Organic Livestock
The beneficiaries undertake to integrate or maintain in the system of organic agriculture according to Reg. (EC) 834/2007 the animal farms that they wish for a period of three or five years and conclude or maintain a contract with an approved Organic Certification Organization.
